New for January... Thea's Latest...
#146 - Loving Friends Music box and Accessories...! What a lovely project to work on, something that has that old world charm and that personal touch. Reach through the centuries to our shared needlework past by stitching this charming music box to share with your loving friends. Frame as a wonderful and elegant wee sampler. Alternatively, the stitching fits inside the lid of a beautifully styled Victorian style wooden music box. Beautiful!

Learn how to create the stitching and even the finishing of the box and pincushion and fob by getting the matching DVD... easy videos help you through all the finishing steps. #157 - Mothers and Daughters Sampler -  An antique looking Mother - Daughter Sampler makes a wonderful birthday or other family occasion gift. Elegant and timeless, yet perfect for modern decor, this is a celebration sampler that both mothers and daughters will want to display in their home. Thea has included a more general alphabet to in place of the section pictured on the model. Just replace and this sampler is appropriate for parents, mothers, or grandparents with sons, daughters or children, or anyone with whom you have had a long friendship.

#158 - Valentine Cupcakes! Bake some non-fattening romantic chocolate and vanilla Cupcakes for your loved ones this year! They are just the cutest token of your love. The tops are all stitched with either white or dark red Perle Cotton using a simple blanket stitch, and one even has real Hardanger although you can also substitute plain satin stitches without cutting for simplicity. They are all decorated with “Hardanger” icing and adorable Cupids, chocolate dipped Strawberries, and other Heart button 'candies. Yum!

 
Come to a VS Retreat for fun... !

Come to our 2015 Spring VS Retreat and create a Peacock Needlework Tote..!  Thea's Peacock Sampler design makes the tote pocket, and includes alphabet letters, cutwork, and peacock colours and motifs.Lisa's finishing makes all the difference! The tote is to be tall enough to carry most needlework frames and the pocket will be big enough to hold a chart and stitching supplies! This photo shows the sampler. Finishing supplies and materials included, although you can also opt to finish your pocket as a framed sampler! We now have very limited space available in this class, so if you're interested, don't delay..! Come and enjoy the many delights of Victoria in Springtime 2015... beautiful weather, great food, and stitching!

Lisa and I extend our Best Wishes for a Happy New Year for 2014. Here's hoping it's a good healthy one! We're not in the office right now, as we are away for a much appreciated rest with our families, but we will re-open on the 6th of January and will ship all orders and answer all emails then.
