Our Seasonal Biscornu Contests were so much fun, I created another
Free Pattern for all our stitchers to interpret! I asked all the people in the main
Victoria Sampler Yahoo Group, and they voted for a Humbug. You too can stitch
this humbug using your own colours of linen and materials.. flosses,
overdyed threads,
silk ribbon, perle, linen etc. You can also add your choice of beads or other embellishments to the finished version if you wish. Sharlotte Devere's version was the winning
entry... wow is it every cute! We included Sharlotte's choices of thread and
beads in the chart, but we al so
have the original chart! This humbug was judged by members of our VSYahoo
Group... according to how well the Christmas theme was interpreted, use of colour,
finishing details, and general overall
 beauty. The winner
received $50 of
VS gifts, and a picture of the winning Humbug (including a list
of materials) is published on our website in the Free Pattern section for everyone
to see! Stitch your own version, finish it, and upload a clear large photo in the

group for fun!

has ended on Sept 1st, 2010, but you can add your own photo to the album anytime
