FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR Altoid™ TINS:
To finish off your Altoid™ Tin as shown in the sample, cut 1 piece of acid free matboard the same size as your stitched piece. Cut a rectangular piece of batting ½” smaller than matboard and glue in the center. Next let dry and trim the excess. Center the design over the padded matboard piece and pin in place. When you are satisfied that it is centered, trim the excess fabric to ½” and glue down with Tacky Brand Glue (gold bottle). Glue the matboard and design down onto the Altoid™ Tin and lay a towel and a few books on top to help it dry flat. Trim the design with ready-made cording, or make your own cording if desired. Enjoy using this little design to make a box for your needles, buttons, pins and scissors, or change the wording for any other use!
