Christmas 2009! This little ornament is a small token of my appreciation for
all your support and enthusiasm for my designs. I hope you’ll have lots of time
to stitch a few of these for your Christmas tree. Elegantly simple, the ‘on point’
Hardanger ornament with backstitched corner motifs, and a simple woven square in
the middle can be stitched ‘as is’ or adapted to suit all levels of Hardanger weaving.
I have attached a simple gold “Bow” charm but you can substitute any charm or Hardanger
weaving you like. It would also look wonderful stitched in different colours or
overdyes. Hope you enjoy this little Christmas gift, and may it happily hang in
your tree many years to come!
