#027 Heirloom Wedding Sampler
The Third in the Heirloom series
Creamy white silk threads, white silk ribbon, shimmering metallic
and soft white perle cotton make this Wedding Sampler simply enchanting to stitch. The
beautiful floral pearl encrusted heart and lacy Hardanger bottom enclose some heart filled
bands that express the theme of “love”. The model was stitched on Platinum linen
for an Antique timeless look. However, I originally designed this on White Linen to
evoke the frothy white silky wedding dress trailing Hardanger Lace. The words “Faith,
Hope, Love... the Greatest of these is Love” is my personal choice for this
sampler, but I encourage you to choose words that are particularly meaningful to
you! The photos show the Main Heirloom Wedding Sampler, the smaller Mini Wedding
Sampler, and a box top design (also suitable for the center of a ring pillow). A Hardanger
bridesmaid gift ornament is taken from the main graph. (A separate free pattern is
available on our website.) I invite you to use all the elements and bands of the sampler
to embellish other items you might like.. such as placecards, a ring pillow, candle
holders, garter or sachets full of rose petals. However you use these designs, I hope you
stitch this pattern with joy and kindness as a true Labour of Love. |
