#022Peaches and Cream
Sampler or Needle Cushion

Stitched in delicious shades, this luxurious peach and cream silk and wool sampler gives both beginner specialty stitchers, and also more experienced stitchers, a lovely project to finish easily.  The Hardanger portion and hemstitching areas are easily mastered.  Worked on the diagonal, the other specialty stitches are a bit more challenging than the usual horizontal bands but are still not so complicated as to frustrate you!  I have used lustrous silk Trebizond, wool, silk ribbon, and sparkling beads and metallics to embellish this design.  It can be framed or finished as a "ring-bearer's pillow" or just a beautiful pillow to keep your pins and needles by your side.

Design area: 60 stitches x 60 stitches
